Pericope by SFM

You know the feeling: you’re preparing a sermon on a text you’ve preached before, and you know you had good notes on it somewhere. A sticky note? A journal? That one Google Doc from 2019? You spend twenty minutes looking and find nothing useful.

Pericope is the system I built to solve that problem.

Pericope is a Notion template with six interrelated databases that work together as a complete Bible-working environment. It comes pre-loaded with every book and chapter of the Bible, every pericope in the Revised Common Lectionary, the full three-year cycle of RCL lections with their assigned dates, and the Christian calendar. You bring your sermons, your studies, and your notes — and everything connects.

Look up a passage, see every lectionary date it’s assigned, find the notes you took on it three years ago, and link it to the sermon you’re writing now. It all lives in one place, in your own Notion workspace, fully customizable and yours to keep.

What’s included:

Six interrelated databases — SFM Books of the Bible, SFM Chapters, SFM Pericopes, SFM Revised Common Lectionary, SFM Churchy Dates, and SFM Projects and Notes — plus a Bible-Working Dashboard to get you oriented from day one.

The data-heavy databases come pre-loaded. The projects and notes databases are blank canvases, ready for your work.

What you need:

A free Notion account. That’s it. No subscription, no add-ons, no ongoing cost beyond your one-time purchase.

$49 $29 — introductory pricing

Pericope is priced at $49. For now, I’m offering it at $29 while I gather feedback from early users. When I’ve collected a handful of real-world testimonials and shipped any updates they surface, the price goes up. If you buy now, you keep it forever at $29.
